Della Nonna’s story starts a long time ago. As special as the feeling you’ll get with each taste of our dessert, equally special is the story of how Della Nonna desserts were first made.
The house of irresistible desserts
The house of irresistible desserts” that is how the place that we lived in was known from generation to generation. Our place was always the destination in which everyone would gather in every special day, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, birthdays and other family gatherings.
But not only then, even in any regular day everyone was always welcomed to have a slice of the Baklava that each time would taste surprisingly different from the others, always having a different twist and unique colorful mouthwatering flavors.
“Just Suprise me”
“Just surprise me” was the only expectation from our guests when grandmother, as always, offered to bring out some dessert. And, before they could even finish the sentence, she would fill the table with different homestyle desserts, each of them special and breathtaking.
Slowly putting the cakes in the table with special care for each of them, she would say with a calm and warm voice “you can choose all the right ingredients, follow all the right steps, use the most profound taste, but the food will never taste special unless you put your love and passion into it”.
Then, she would offer a tour in her kitchen which she presented as her holly temple. “You can’t come inside my kitchen if you’re angry or negative. Laughter and the sounds of pots & pans are the only sounds allowed in here” – she would always add before inviting anyone in.
A Legacy of Tradition and Modernity
Each one of our cakes has its own history, being cooked over and over through the years adding a different detail each time. Slowly transforming from traditional homemade desserts, our desserts have been upgraded each time but never lost their history, creating the perfect combination between traditional and modern.

Today Della Nonna’s cakes are cooked with a high level of craftsmanship and creativity, according to traditional and modern recipes known all over the world, meeting the criteria even of the best connoisseurs of sweet tastes. The outcome is unique and even magnetic because it also maintains that special ingredient that was never changed or removed only multiplied – the love and care of the people who make it.

Through the years Della Nonna desserts were the magnet bonding people together and giving them a piece of joy in every bite. Today we want people all over the world to hear our story, and fill their belly and their heart with the love and passion our grandmother had.

We are going to continue the story and take Della Nonna on its next adventure. Build an empire of flavors. And we want to do it together with all of you, adapting our recipes for every country, every nation, so that every place has its own della nonna taste.
